Yoga is considered a fantastic cross-training practice for all athletes. It has been proven to enhance flexibility and strength, body mechanics and body awareness. Yoga can literally make every form of training you do more effective and efficient. Its benefits can significantly improve all aspects of performance including power and speed, to focus and confidence.
In this workshop, Cheri will utilize her Sport Psychology background along with Yoga teaching to create an experience for the athlete to see how Yoga can be used as a vehicle to enhance mental focus, surpass personal limits, aide in the ability to withstand pressure and distractions as well as help one gain an overall deeper understanding of themselves.
